After many months of neglect..I finally had some time to spare for my blog..When I started my blog I had just started Drupal..well It had been a while but I was still learning stuffs..I looked at my system status and found that most of my modules were in dire need of update including my Drupal Core which was based on Drupal 6.12, So I thought it would be a good time to do my update.

Views is without a doubt the most powerful and useful drupal module. Views helps to bring out content from our site in a variety of ways. Anywhere you think of list of contents in your site you think of views. Views 2 provides even more awesome features than that were available in Views 1.

The very first Drupal meetup Kathmandu was held on July 19th 2009 at YIPL offices. The event was organized by YoungInnovations Pvt. Ltd. The event saw a turnout of around 25 drupal enthusiasts.

The event started out with an introduction of all the participants by answering these four questions:

Young Innovations Pvt. Ltd is organising the very first Drupal Meetup right here in Kathmandu. This is going to be a great event for all the drupal user, drupal developers, drupal themers or anyone curious about Drupal.

MogDesign has just witten a blog on 70 Beautiful Drupal sites. It list some of the beautifully designed websites that are made in Drupal, and I am happy to say that my site has been featured in it as well. It includes some really cool ans some really high profile websites like Universal music, abduzeedo.com, the french government, UN world food programme just to name a few.

Update

Those who use drupal will probably agree that CCK(Content Construction Kit) is one of the most important modules that drupal has to offer. CCK allows us to create custom content types and add different kinds of fields to it. The power of CCK can be extended with the help of different contributed modules.
